GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

An online documentary is set for Monday night dealing with Bass fishing on Lake Guntersville.

It focuses on just why so many bass professionals have chosen to live in this small community in Marshall County.

Nearly a dozen pro anglers have moved to the area which is more than anywhere else and the documentary points out why.

Lake Guntersville has consistently remained as one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country.

20 ft Deep.com came to the area for the documentary to meet with some of those now local pros to find out why they chose this area to live.

Local tourism officials believe interest like this only helps to bring more visitors to the area and sometimes to stay.

Bassmasters Classic Champion Boyd Duckett moved here in the last few years.

He says it's a great community but if you include the nearby lakes it's one of the best training grounds in the nation.

“So if you live here within an hour’s drive everything that we might see in the country you can see from here.  You can practice
that.  You can develop your skills on that style of fishing,” says Duckett.

That documentary airs October 17th at 7 pm on
