TUSCALOOSA, AL (WAFF) - As Alabama faces Tennessee on Saturday in Knoxville, Alabama head coach Nick Saban told the media on Wednesday how impressed he's been with Butch Jones and the Vols program. When asked about his own accomplishments in Tuscaloosa, Saban had a different approach.
"I don't take any satisfaction on anything that we've done here," Saban said. "Because I'm worried about winning this game. Pretty slippery pole when you start at the penthouse and down to the outhouse in this business. You take satisfaction when the score is 42-17 and then you go out and get your ass
kicked the next series. So you can't take satisfaction. You got to keep on grinding."
The grind continues Saturday at Neyland Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT.
