Report: 3 teens injured on Morgan County fair ride

MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Three teenagers were injured on a ride at the Morgan County Fair Sunday night, according to the Decatur Daily.

The Tilt-A-Whirl ride reportedly malfunctioned Sunday night. Two 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old were treated at the hospital for head, back and leg injuries.

Robert Briggs, owner of Modern Midways based in Miami, did not return a call seeking comment Monday. Modern Midways is the company that operates the Morgan County Fair.

“The second spin flipped us to the ground,” Manny Delgado said. “At first, I thought it was part of the ride. But when I tried to get up, another car hit me on the top left side of my head.”
