LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

An Oak Grove/Thatch volunteer firefighter was arrested on duty for violating his sex offender restrictions.

Crow was first arrested in Athens in 1987 for raping a then 17-year-old girl. He was subsequently convicted and added to the sex offender registry.

Court documents show Crow most recently responded to a call with 2,000 feet of Ardmore High School.

Crow is now out of jail on a $30,000 bond.

Calls to his fire chief have not yet been returned.
