Florida braces for deadly Hurricane Matthew

(WAFF) - Powerful Hurricane Matthew is expected to intensify as it approaches Florida where millions of people are preparing for a direct hit.  The Category 3 storm is packing maximum sustained winds of 115 mph and is located about 295 miles southeast of West Palm Beach, FL, moving northwest at 10 mph. Forecasters expect hurricane conditions to reach the hurricane warning area in the Sunshine State by Thursday night, and evacuations have begun.

A Texas mom is demanding justice after she says two boys set her 10-year-old son on fire as he played in a field.Kayden Culp is on life support with first and second degree burns covering 20 percent of his body after a shed fire Sunday afternoon.

Sunny skies with temperatures in the upper 80s

We are about 5-10° cooler this morning compared to yesterday. Temperatures are generally in the upper 50s to mid-60s. We'll warm up fast like we have previously this week. Skies should be mostly sunny into the afternoon as highs push into the upper 80s once again. Any clouds that develop this afternoon will fade away this evening. With clear skies and light winds overnight, lows should dip into the upper 50s for Friday morning.
