Keith defeats incumbent Showers in Huntsville's District 1 Council Race

There’s a new councilman in Huntsville’s District 1 for the first time in more than two decades. Political newcomer Devyn Keith defeated the 28-year incumbent, Dr. Richard Showers, garnering nearly 70% of the total vote.

We are starting this morning several degrees warmer compared to yesterday. Skies are mainly clear and we’ll warm up quickly with plenty of sun into this afternoon. Readings should be in the upper 70s/lower 80s by noon with highs into the upper 80s.
