Tennessee Valley Democrats and Republicans are flocking together tonight to watch the only Vice-Presidential debate.

Republican nominee Mike Pence and Democratic nominee Tim Kaine will sound off on the major issues at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia.

The UAH College Democrats are hosting a Debate Viewing Party at 8 p.m. Tuesday night. It will be held in room 124 at Morton Hall on the campus of the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Meanwhile, the Madison County Young Republicans are holding their Vice-Presidential Viewing Party at the offices of Moore & Gentle Attorneys at Law in Huntsville. The GOP viewing party also begins at 8 p.m. Pizza and light refreshments will be served.

What are both parties hoping to hear from tonight's debates?

Ken Gawronski Jr, Chairman of the Madison County Young Republicans, said he wants voters to learn more about the nominees. Gawronski said, "I would like to hear how Mike Pence will use his political experience in a Trump administration in order to make America great again!"

Hadassah Phillips, President of the UAH College Democrats, shared a similar sentiment. Phillips said, "Sen. Kaine should spend tonight proving to the American people that he and Secretary Clinton have more than enough successful foreign and domestic political experience to qualify them for the Executive office."

WAFF-48 will have complete coverage of the Vice-Presidential debate on-air and online.
