Arrest made in Huntsville Bojangles robbery; 2nd suspect at large

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police have charged a man in connection to a Tuesday night restaurant robbery.

Davian Rice, 19, of Huntsville is charged with robbery. He's accused of holding up Bojangles at 4323 University Dr.

Officers responded to the robbery call at approximately 10:10 p.m. Tuesday. They say two men held up the restaurant at gunpoint and demanded money. K-9 officers quickly located Rice, who had run from the scene. Officers found him hiding in bushes near a vacant building on Independence Drive.

Officers are still searching for a second suspect described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt at the time of the crime.
