(WAFF) - Alabama making a return trip to Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium this Saturday. The last time The Crimson Tide program was there, it ended in a loss.
Ole Miss has beaten Alabama the last two seasons. Nick Saban hasn't loss three straight games to one program since the 1997-99 seasons when Purdue beat Saban while the head coach at Michigan State.
Saturday, Saban will have a true freshman starting on the road in a hostile environment. Jalen Hurts has been solid after two games considering he was playing high school football a year ago. A little different atmosphere Saturday, but his teammate have 100 percent confidence in him.
"I think he's gonna handle it well," Alabama wide receiver Ardarius Stewart said Thursday. "I think he's handled a lot of things well, and typed of adversity. You know, his first snap was a fumble, and we were away then, we weren't at home. He's gonna come out and do the best he can, to the best of his ability, no biggie."
Kickoff for Saturday's game is set for 2:30 p.m. CT.
