Lake Guntersville Cancer Shooting

Lake Guntersville State Park has partnered with Shooting Sports for Cancer, Inc. to host Ta Ta Bang Bang, Saturday, September 10 from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. The fundraiser is to help women pay for breast cancer procedures. The event will be held at Lake Guntersville State Park State Park at 1155 Lodge Drive in Guntersville, AL. Teams can register online and learn more by clicking here

Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum

The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum will celebrate its 55th Anniversary with a special weekend of historic railroading on September 10 - 11. An independent production, “And Then There Was One,” documents the survival tale of TVRM’s Steam Queen, Locomotive #4501. Premier tickets, or “4501 Packages” ($45.01), are available for purchase. Railfest tickets are only $25 for adults and $20 for kids age 2-12.
