Morning Headlines: Seoul: North Korea's 5th nuke test 'fanatic recklessness'

Highs into the mid-90s with mainly clear skies

Like the last few mornings this week, we’re starting today with mainly clear skies and temperatures in the mid-60s to low 70s. Look for a quick warm-up with mostly sunny skies. We should be up to around 90° by noon with highs into the mid-90s once again. 

Seoul: North Korea's 5th nuke test 'fanatic recklessness'

North Korea said it conducted a "higher level" nuclear test explosion on Friday that will allow it to finally build "at will" an array of stronger, smaller and lighter nuclear weapons. It was the North's fifth atomic test and the second in eight months.

AL governor, auditor discuss how to deal with $100 million owed to feds

Auditors have determined that $120 million in designated Medicaid money from the BP oil settlement will be largely canceled out because Alabama owes $100 million to the federal government. Alabama State Auditor Jim Zeigler and Gov. Robert Bentley have strong feeling on what this means for the state.
