(WAFF) - City of Decatur added to lawsuit over tainted water
It seems like the lawsuits over tainted water in Morgan and Lawrence counties keep growing and growing by the day. The city of Decatur is now being named in the latest piece of litigation. Those who live in the area affected by the water crisis are now pointing their fingers at the city of Decatur.
Two Olympic swimmers were taken off their flight from Brazil to the U.S. on Wednesday by local authorities amid an investigation into a reported robbery targeting Ryan Lochte and his teammates. A lawyer for the two athletes said they will not be allowed to leave Brazil until they provide testimony to investigators, who are still searching answers about how the swimmers got robbed Sunday morning along with teammate Ryan Lochte.
The on-campus housing shortage at Alabama A&M University may soon come to an end, but students a needing dorm to live in this semester won't feel the relief. Current and future students of the university will have a chance to move into a new residence hall in the Fall of 2017.
Our weather will be more unsettled for the next few days. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds early with increasing clouds through the day. Steadier rain is ongoing to our north and west this morning, but isolated showers are still possible in the Valley. Better rain chances will hold off until the afternoon. That's when scattered storms should become more widespread.
