Madison City School leaders say some kids are having to learn in portable classrooms because of overcrowded schools and because the city isn't getting its fair share in taxes. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds today with more cloud cover to the west of I-65 and more sunshine to the east. A stray rain shower is not out of the question, but most will stay dry this morning. Temperatures should warm up quickly, and you can expect another muggy day. Highs should push into the lower 90s with a heat index around 100°. Isolated storms should develop in the afternoon heat with those storms being more numerous over western AL.
