HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

The opportunity to satisfy your need for speed is opening for business in Huntsville. Veloce, which means fast in Italian, specializes in indoor kart racing.

Veloce is located at 1030 Old Monrovia Road NW in the old Hobby Lobby building. The grand opening is Saturday, July 16th.

The company promises speeds of 50 MPH in just three seconds with the use of electric-powered karts.

Veloce says its Huntsville location will also boast the largest indoor track in Alabama.

Parents worried about children speeding should know the company also features junior karts, which top out at speeds of 20 MPH.

The Tampa based company, founded in 2015, has an existing track in Milwaukee, WA. Future locations include Nashville and Knoxville.

Visit the Veloce Huntsville website for pricing and more information.
