HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - On the campus of Alabama A&M, a 7-on-7 football camp was hosted by the Bulldogs football program Thursday.
There was also an offensive and defensive line camp for the big guys as well.
Teams from North Alabama and the Birmingham area came to compete throughout the day.
Some area coaches happy to be able to spend extra time with their players before the start of fall camp.
"I thought it was good for a local university to put this on, get to face some local competition," said Lee High Head Coach Tony Woods on Thursday. "It's good for the kids to get out, a little friendly competition, while getting better, instead of having to look at each other all the time."
