Good Morning Everyone. Here's what the newsroom is buzzing about this morning.

We're following breaking news out of Washington, D.C. where many Democrats are still sitting on the house floor. They are doing an old, classic sit-in to continue to fight for gun control legislation despite the house officially adjourning until July 5th.

Right now, Huntsville Police are searching for the person who fired several shots last night on Beard Street, with one of those bullets hitting a man. We'll bring you the latest on this investigation in a live report at 5:00& 6:00 a.m.

The search for a Madison County teen will pick back up again on the Tennessee River this morning. The body of a 17-year old teen is still missing after her kayak flipped and she never surfaced. We'll show you what her friends and family did to honor her last night.

Putting your loved one in a nursing home is a tough decision. At 5:30 a.m. we'll tell you about a new rule to better protect your loved ones and give you notice about problems in facilities.

Mark your calendars for July 2nd & 9th. "Slide the City" returns to Huntsville and stops in Florence as well. Organizers say the massive water slide will be bigger and better than last year. We'll tell you where you can cool off for the party.

Our rain chances are creeping higher but will it bring many relief to the oppressive heat. Tune in for your weather on the 10s with Meteorologist David Ernst.

Of course, we'll break down all you need to know when it comes to traffic issues out there in your First Alert Road Report every 15 minutes.

Alright, one more day to go so let us get you through this "Friday Eve."

See you starting at 4:30 a.m.
