We'll start with new developments in the water crisis for West Morgan - East Lawrence Water Authority customers. Decatur Utilities is now sending almost three million gallons of clean water your way but it's only diluting the existing water. It's an improvement but more bad news is coming from a local environmental group that claims they discovered more chemicals in the water, eight dangerous ones to be exact. Tune in right at 5:00 & 6:00 a.m. for details. 

We're following up on an issue you first alerted us to. Graffiti taking over parts of trails along Rainbow Mountain in Madison. Hear the response we got when we reached out to the officials responsible for cleaning it at 5:00 & 6:00 a.m.

Madison Boulevard is back open this morning after a deadly motorcycle wreck near Wall Triana in Madison. Meanwhile, we're working to confirm the identity of the driver.

For those of you heading to Athens State University this fall, prepare to pay more in tuition. We'll explain details behind a tuition rate hike at 5:30 & 6:30 a.m.

The legal fight over gay marriage in Alabama is apparently over once and for all. U.S. District Judge Callie Granade issued a new order seeking to shut down a loophole in state law some opponents were trying to use to keep the fight going in court.     Beginning Saturday, April 1,  DeKalb County Sheriff's Office will be open from 8 a.m. through 3:45 p.m. for people to pick up reports and renew their pistol permits.  "For the past couple of years we have been working on opening the office on Saturdays to accommodate the people who are unable to make it to the office during our regular office hours," Sheriff Jimmy Harris said.   "We feel like this will help people who are unable to make it down her...More >>
