(WAFF) - State health department officials are urging you to get the measles vaccinations if you haven't done so. As news comes that at least five people in Alabama have been exposed to the contagious respiratory infection in recent weeks.

2 injured in wreck on Jeff Road

Two people were hurt after their car slammed into a utility pole at the dead end of Jeff Road at Toney Road. It happened just after 3:30 on Wednesday morning.

Sunny skies with highs pushing into the lower 90s

We're starting this morning a few degrees warmer than average, in the upper 60s for the most part. It's going to be another hot day with temperatures warming quickly. Skies will be mostly sunny into the afternoon with highs pushing into the lower 90s.
