HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A Huntsville tradition resumes Monday for the 37th annual Cotton Row Run.

There are three separate events, the 10K, 5K and one-mile fun run or walk. Local competitors will once again try and bring home top honors, including Madison's own Josh Whitehead.

“It brings in competition that we often don't get here in the Huntsville area,’ Whitehead said. “You know, there’s the Cotton Row in the spring and the (Rocket City) Marathon in the fall, so I'm really looking forward to it. Having some out of town competition. Just being able to bring the running community together for a great event.”

The 10K race begins at 7 a.m. Monday.
