HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

It may involve fake money, but a real crime was committed. We're talking about someone cashing thousands of dollars worth of fraudulent checks.

We have surveillance photos of the suspected thief at the Redstone Federal Credit Union on Wynn Drive August 15 of last year.

You can see he popped his head out of the vehicle window, obviously conscious of that surveillance camera.

Police say he deposited $3,400 in fraudulent checks, then immediately removed the money. We see the shot of him with the get-up, designed to conceal himself from the camera.

But then again, we also have some pictures of his face inside the vehicle, which might just be the best look.

If you know who he is, you'll be making a deposit into your own bank account.

There's a reward of up to $1,000 if you can help us track down this thief.
