Madison police detective addresses department turnover rate

A Madison detective is calling for an investigation into why the police department is having problems keeping and training officers. From the civil rights violation trial of an officer to the police chief being put on administrative leave, the Madison Police Department has seen its share of scrutiny over the past year.

Bench trial to begin for former Lawrence County animal shelter director

The former Lawrence County Animal Shelter Director who faces 17 counts of animal abuse and neglect will finally have her day in court. Bobbie Taylor's bench trial is scheduled to start Tuesday morning in Lawrence County.
