FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Cloud and sun mix with temperatures in mid 70s

(WAFF) -

Temperatures are still cool this morning, although in many cases, we are a few degrees milder than yesterday morning. Readings range from the upper 40s into the mid 50s. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds today with more clouds than sun by the afternoon.

Highs will be a few degrees warmer than on Sunday we should make it into the mid 70s this afternoon. Winds should be out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. A stray rain shower may develop, but any showers will remain isolated in nature.

Skies will stay mostly cloudy tonight, and lows should be a few degrees warmer. They should drop to around 60° to start Tuesday morning. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance for a hit-or-miss rain shower.

Winds will be out of the south and it will be a warmer day.  Highs should make it back into the 80s. The clouds continue through the middle of the week. Scattered storms are possible Wednesday, but there will still be plenty that stay dry.

Highs will be in the lower 80s as we head towards the weekend. Scattered storms are in the forecast for Thursday with that activity expected to be more widespread on Friday. With the higher chance for rain Friday and Saturday, temperatures won’t be as warm.

Highs should be limited to the upper 70s for a couple of days. Rain should taper off late Saturday with just a lingering shower on Sunday. Skies should begin to clear with highs in the lower 80s and an overnight low in the upper 50s.
