FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Cold temperatures to start Friday morning

(WAFF) - You'll probably want to grab the jacket this morning as we're a couple degrees cooler compared to yesterday. For the most part, temperatures are in the low-to-mid 40s. Skies are clear and we'll see plenty of sunshine throughout the day just a slight increase in clouds later this afternoon.

We'll be up to around 70° at Noon with highs pushing into the mid 70s. Winds could be breezy at times, but won't be as strong as yesterday. They'll be out of the north at 5-15 mph.

Skies will be mostly sunny this afternoon and any fair weather clouds should diminish this evening. Skies will be clear and temperatures will drop quickly.  Lows should bottom out in the upper 40s for Saturday morning.

Look for sunny skies Saturday afternoon along with a quick warm-up. Highs should push back into the 80s with a west wind around 10 mph. We won't be as cool overnight with lows staying in the mid/upper 50s. Sunday should be a couple degrees warmer with highs in the mid 80s and mostly sunny skies.

Clouds should begin to increase as we start a new work week. We'll stay dry Monday and the warm weather will continue. Our next weather maker brings a chance for rain/storms back to the Valley for the middle of the week.

Scattered storms are expected Tuesday through Thursday. Highs should continue to run in the 80s through much of next week lows will be in the 60s.
