HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

For small businesses, big problems can be even bigger when it involves large sums of money. That's the case for a local nursery who's feeling the thorns instead of the roses right now after a major theft.

Nothing says springtime like beautiful flowers and plants. But for Beth McCormick, the beauty has lost a little luster right now.

She and her husband Grant own McCormick Nurseries on Cleveland Avenue in Huntsville.

But on April 24, they encountered the ugly face of crime.

We have a surveillance photo that shows a dark-colored SUV pulling away a Kubota tractor along with a trailer. We went to get a better look at what that tractor and the trailer look like.

Someone obviously knew what they were after and how to haul it out quickly.

The catch is the tractor and trailer were rented by the McCormicks and is valued at over $35,000. And the financial responsibility for that loss falls squarely on them.

That could be devastating for their business. So they're desperately asking for your help in locating the Kubota tractor.

If you have any idea who stole it, there's a big cash reward coming your way.

That's a reward of up to $1,000. Make the anonymous call to 256-53-Crime. You can also submit your tips via email or text - click here for more details.
