Nine displaced after early morning apartment fire

Huntsville fire crews responded to a fire at the Lily Flagg Station Apartments on Whitesburg Drive around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday. Nine residents were displaced, eight adults and one child. The American Red Cross is providing them assistance.

Alabama Senate passes medical marijuana oil bill

A bid to decriminalize medicinal marijuana oil has passed a hurdle in the Alabama legislature. Senators on Wednesday voted 29-3 for the bill, which would legalize possession of cannabidiol.

Clear skies with temperatures into mid 60s

We’re starting this morning with mostly cloudy skies. Much of the area is dry with only an isolated shower expected through the early afternoon. The clouds will hang around most of this morning, but should begin clearing out during the afternoon hours.
