Skies are mainly clear across the Valley, but clouds will increase from the west through the morning hours. Temperatures are mild once again with many starting the day in the lower 60s. We are cooler over northeastern AL with mid/upper 50s for parts of DeKalb and Jackson Counties.
We'll still warm up quickly despite the increase in cloud cover. Highs should make it into the low-to-mid 80s with a south wind around 10 mph. A line of storms is ongoing to our west this morning.
What's left of those storms should head into the Valley later today. Storms will be scattered this afternoon as they arrive, but should become more widespread overnight.
Some storms could be on the stronger side with gusty winds, but the threat for severe weather remains low. Skies will stay cloudy tonight with lows in the low/mid 60s.
We'll begin Thursday with scattered showers and storms continuing. That activity should wrap up by the afternoon and skies will begin to clear. Highs will still top out in the low-to-mid 80s. Lows will be back to around 60° overnight with mainly clear skies.
We'll see a mix of sun and clouds for Friday afternoon and many will stay dry all day. There's a slight chance for rain showers Saturday with more clouds arriving. Scattered storms are back in the forecast Sunday, and it will be a little cooler with highs around 80.
