(WAFF) - We're mild and cloudy this morning with scattered showers and storms tracking east. The storms will be hit or miss in nature but could impact the morning commute with brief heavy rain and gusty winds.
Severe weather is unlikely but an isolated strong storm with gusts up to 45mph or small hail is possible through the lunch hour. The wet weather pushes south and east of the Valley by the afternoon with decreasing cloud cover.
Highs today will be in the middle 70s. As a north wind develops, slightly cooler temperatures can be expected tonight. Saturday morning will start out in the low 50s but afternoon sunshine will lift temperatures into the upper 70s.
