Any race with more than two contenders who didn't get a clear majority that day will be settled. A couple of county commission seats and some school board positions are in the ballots in Madison, DeKalb, Cullman and Franklin counties. To build a new school or to not build a new school? That is the question that Madison county school leaders and even parents can't seem to decide on. Some parents are now voicing their concerns over plans to build a new school in Monrovia. Some believe $43 million in BRAC funds should go toward updating ALL schools in Madison county.
