FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Sunny skies with temperatures in the mid 50s

(WAFF) -

Temperatures are in the low-to-mid 40s this morning, and skies are mainly clear. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds today with more cloud cover across middle TN and northeastern AL. Skies should be mostly sunny for much of the Valley.

It’s going to be a cooler day with strong northwest winds of 10-20 mph. We’ll be in the 50s for much of the day with highs just pushing into the lower 60s.

Skies will be mainly clear tonight and the wind should let up after sunset. We’re in store for a chilly night with lows in the mid/upper 30s.  Patchy frost is possible on Saturday morning.

Look for mostly sunny skies Saturday afternoon. You can expect another cool day with highs limited to the upper 50s. The wind won’t be as strong, but it could still be breezy at times with a north wind around 10 mph.

Skies will be clear overnight and areas of frost are once again possible with lows dropping into the mid 30s. We should be a little warmer for Sunday afternoon with highs rebounding into the mid 60s. More clouds roll in Monday ahead of our next weather maker.

Highs should be near 70.  We’ll stay dry most of the day, but a chance for rain moves in late. Showers and a few t-storms can be expected overnight and into Tuesday. Temperatures should stay slightly below average for the middle of next week.

Highs will be in the upper 60s with lows in the mid 40s. A slight chance for rain will continue through Thursday across the Valley with higher chances closer to the Gulf coast.
