Plane Hijacking, UAH Protests & Zip Car

Good Morning TN Valley, we've got plenty to cover this morning on WAFF 48 News Today.

First, breaking news of an ongoing hostage negotiations happening right now on a Cyprus Airport tarmac. This comes after an Egypt Air Plane is hijacked. So far, all passengers have been released except for the cabin crew and foreigners. We'll have the latest details in the First Alert Center.

Ah, no one wants to see a high electric bill show up in the mail. Definitely not month after month after month but that's apparently happening in Courtland which has residents angry. Some residents claim their bills increase by 160%. We'll give you all the details and what the Mayor says maybe the reason for the high bills.

    A school bus accident occurred Friday morning in Decatur.  The accident occurred at 11th St. SW and W. Moulton St. around 9:30 a.m.  Bus No. 27 reportedly collided with a pickup truck, resulting in serious damage to the side of the vehicle.  The bus sustained only minor damage.
