AUBURN, AL (WAFF) - The pads were worn Tuesday. A scrimmage is in the works this week for Auburn. It's probable that will happen on Saturday when the team practices inside Jordan-Hare stadium.
The wide receiver group needs two play makers to step up. Could Tony Stevens be one of them?
Stevens is hoping to make an impact for the 2016 season.
"When I'm in practice, I get out there like I'm expected to play," Stevens said Tuesday. " Up till this moment right now, I feel like I'm ready. My first moment out there against Kentucky, I felt like I was ready, because I prepared for it. And right now I'm preparing for Clemson."
Auburn resumes practice Thursday.
