A fight broke out during Donald Trump's campaign rally inside at the Tucson Convention Center on Saturday, March 19.

A protester was punched as he was being escorted out by security after disrupting the rally. The protester was seen with a woman who was wearing a white hood, similar to a Ku Klux Klan hood.

Sgt. Kim Bay, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department, said the man who hit the protester has been identified as 32-year-old Tony Pettway. Bay said Pettway was arrested on a charge of assault with injury.

The protester has been identified as Bryan Sanders.

"I was being escorted out of the building, I had that in my right hand a peace sign up," Sanders said. "A guy grabbed the sign out of my right hand and sucker punched me. Then he got on top of me and hit me several more times."

Bay said Linda Rothman, 67, was also arrested inside the TCC during the rally. Rothman is facing a charge of assault with no injury.

There were about 150 police officers at the event, according to Bay. No officer was injured.
