Auburn advances to NCAA Tournament second round

DALLAS, TX (WAFF) -

The Auburn women's team jumped out to a 19-point lead in their NCAA Tournament game with St John's and held on to win 68-57.

Auburn freshman Janiah McKay had a career-high 24 points.

Three players score in double figures also.

The Tigers' defense got 32 points off turnovers on Thursday as well.

Auburn will face top seed Baylor on Sunday.
