FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Isolated rain showers with warm temperatures

(WAFF) -

Skies are partly to mostly cloudy this morning, and we’ll see a fair amount of cloud cover through the day. An isolated rain shower is possible from time to time, but many will stay dry today in the Valley.

The best chance of seeing one of those showers would be south of the Tennessee River. It’s likely that we’ll stay dry and see more sunshine across southern TN. Temperatures will still be warm for mid-March.

Morning readings are close to where they were yesterday, but highs will be a couple degrees cooler topping out around 70. While that won’t be as warm as earlier in the week, it’s still a few degrees above average. Lows tonight drop into the mid/upper 40s once again. Skies will stay mostly cloudy and scattered rain showers can be expected.

We’ll continue with occasional rain showers into Saturday, but it won’t be raining all day long. It will be cooler over the weekend with highs limited to the mid and upper 50s Saturday. Skies will stay mostly cloudy and we’ll drop into the upper 30s for lows overnight.
