Teacher accused of threatening students

(WAFF) -

Good morning! First off, here's the good news. You've made it to Friday!
This is Trent Butler checking in to share what we're covering for you this morning.
A parent is upset with the Huntsville City School System saying they took too long to respond after a teacher threatened her students.
This morning, you'll hear from the mother who details the accusations. Plus, the school responds and tell us how district leaders are handling the situation.
We're also learning more about a second football coach who's now charged with having sex with a student at East Limestone High School.  School officials are trying to reassure parents that their children are safe and there isn't a wide reaching problem throughout the school system.
On a lighter note, if you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, we've got you covered.
From a wood chopping festival to an early egg hunt, we'll run down the weekend calendar in the Tennessee Valley.
You may need a jacket for the outdoor events. David Ernst is talking about much cooler weather. Catch his forecast and much more on the FINALLY FRIDAY edition of WAFF 48 News Today.
