FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Sunny skies with warm temps

(WAFF) -

It is noticeably colder this morning across the Valley certainly jacket weather!! Temperatures are in the mid 40s for the most part, which is around 20° cooler than we were yesterday morning.

Winds are light this morning and will be out of the north at 5-10 mph through the day. Skies will be mostly sunny this morning save for a few foggy spots. We should warm up quickly as a result, and highs will push into the 70s once again.

While that’s still warmer than average, we should be a few degrees cooler than yesterday. Clouds will increase across the Valley tonight. We’ll still cool off quickly after sunset, and lows should fall into the mid 40s once again.

We’ll see more clouds through the day on Friday. There’s a higher chance for steadier rain across central and south Alabama. A stray shower isn’t out of the question across the Valley, but most will stay dry through Friday afternoon.
