Presidential candidates play nice?

   What's this? A civil debate? Good morning! You've made it to Friday. Trent Butler here. 
   The tone was less contentious last night during the Republican presidential debate in Miami. 
   The four remaining GOP candidates traded their recent insults for their views on important issues like immigration and trade. 
   They did disagree somewhat on Donald Trump's stance that Islam hates the West. We'll recap all the highlights for you this morning ahead of major primaries in states like Ohio and Florida. 
  We're learning more about a new high school for students in Madison County. While the new school would be the same size as Sparkman High, it would be missing some key features because of funding issues. We'll tell you how less money means fewer sports facilities. 
   Plus, we'll give you some fun ideas for the weekend including a great option for Alabama football fans! 
   David Ernst will let us know if rain might spoil the party this weekend when he shares his forecast. We hope we can help you start the weekend on a positive note this morning on WAFF 48 News Today!
