Remembering the First Lady

(WAFF) -

Many people are remembering former First Lady Nancy Reagan, who died this weekend at the age of 94.
Good morning, Trent Butler here.

This morning, we'll show how they are paying tribute to her at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California.
Her step-son Michael Reagan said it eloquently, "She is once again with the man she loved. God Bless."

We'll also show you how Nancy Reagan played a major role in helping start a non-profit in the Tennessee Valley aimed at keeping kids off drugs.

This morning, voters are trying to sift through more tough talk and accusations of misrepresentation. During the Democratic presidential debate in Flint, Michigan last night, Hillary Clinton accused Bernie Sanders of turning his back on the auto industry. Sanders then proclaimed that Clinton's friends on Wall Street destroyed the economy.

How long can this beautiful weather last? David Ernst is in on this Monday to let us know. Please join us on WAFF 48 News Today as we kick off another week!
