Decatur inmate escapes from job location in Huntsville

A Decatur inmate escaped from his assigned job location Wednesday night. Authorities say 36-year-old Tory Mondale Elliott left from his Huntsville job location at 6:30 p.m.

Firefighters battling mobile home fire on Streamside Drive in Lacey's Springs

Around 4:00 Thursday morning, a witness called 911 saying a mobile home on Streamside Drive was fully engulfed in flames.Firefighters arrived within a few minutes, but there was little they could do. The home was completely gone.
