FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Mostly sunny skies with temperatures into the mid/upper 60s for Monday

(WAFF) -

Temperatures are mild across the Valley this morning with many 10-20° warmer than Sunday morning. We’re generally in the low/mid 50s to begin the day.  Skies are mostly cloudy, and a stray shower isn’t out of the question; but widespread, heavy rain is not expected.

The clouds should diminish for the afternoon, and we should finish the day with mostly sunny skies. The warmer weather we experienced over the weekend continues.

Highs should be into the mid/upper 60s this afternoon with a south wind of 5-10 mph. We’ll see a few passing clouds overnight, and lows should stay in the 50s once again.

Our weather gets more unsettled for the middle of the week.  An area of low pressure will track towards the TN Valley on Tuesday. Clouds will increase ahead of the low with southerly winds at 5-15 mph.
