(WAFF) - Comparing temperatures to yesterday, we are noticeably colder this morning. In many spots by about 15-20°. We're in the upper 30s for the most part with wind chills below freezing.
The wind won't be as strong as yesterday, but you can expect it around 10-20 mph out of the west…so you'll want to keep the jacket on if you'll be out for an extended time. With plenty of cloud cover into the afternoon, temperatures will be slow to warm, and the wind won't help matters at all.
Highs should make it into the mid-to-upper 40s. An occasional sprinkle or flurry may fall today, but no significant rain/snow is expected. The wind begins to let up this evening and should fall to 5 mph or less overnight as skies clear. Look for lows around 30° to begin Friday…patchy frost is possible.
