TONIGHT AT 10: Updates on severe weather

Good afternoon everyone,

I am saddened that two people lost their lives after tornadoes tore through parts of Louisiana. I actually have family in Belle Rose, Louisiana. They are all ok thankfully. Tonight, searchers are still looking for victims and survivors.

A hearing is scheduled for tomorrow in Limestone County for a Madison Police Officer facing an assault charge for slamming a man into the ground after a confrontation in a Madison neighborhood. Eric Parker faced a federal civil rights charge in connection with this case as well but a judge dismissed that charge when two separate juries could not reach a verdict.

Franklin White will have the latest on Google Fiber coming to Huntsville. Local companies are already jumping on the bandwagon to get a piece of what's to come.

We will also have updates on the Nevada Caucus.

Chief Meteorologist Brad Travis is monitoring our chance for potentially severe weather.  Be sure to tune in tonight at 10 for an update on the forecast.

We hope to see you tonight,

Kim
