(WAFF) - Rain showers can be expected throughout Monday and it will be heavy at times, with many seeing 1-2" of rain. The flooding threat should remain low given dry weather the last few days. You may hear an occasional rumble of thunder, but no stronger storms are expected.
For the most part, temperatures will range from the mid-40s to near 50 during the morning hours. Highs for the afternoon should push into the mid-50s, keeping the threat for any wintry weather to our north and east. Evening lows should bottom out near the upper 30s. Steady rain should taper off this evening, but an isolated shower remains possible overnight and on Tuesday.
