AT 10: NH Primaries, Weather-related delays and more

A good, if frigid, Tuesday evening to you, Tennessee Valley.

Did you hear? The big winners tonight in The New Hampshire primary were Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders and Republican candidate Donald Trump?

Despite the weather, voters came  out in large numbers to cast their ballots. We’ll have complete coverage of tonight’s vote coming up tonight at 10.

Also ahead tonight:

There's only a few days left to register for the Alabama Primary, which is March 1. Jake Berent spent this evening with a group holding a "Rock the Vote" event trying to spread the importance of voting.

The temps just stayed low all day, and some schools in the Tennessee Valley have delayed classes for Wednesday - or have closed altogether. We'll have an updated list - plus, of course, Brad's forecast.

Marshall Space Flight Center has a new leader, and now, one week after accepting the position, Todd May gave the public an update about the status of major projects and the upcoming fiscal year's budget.

Plus - the Zika virus - we sent a breaking news alert this afternoon following word that the first case of the illness was confirmed today in Tennessee. We'll have an update on that plus a reminder of the symptoms and what the CDC recommends you do to stay safe.

All this is ahead on WAFF 48 News at 10. Please join us, on-air, online and on mobile.
