Suspect in Hartselle Dollar General robbery turns self in

HARTSELLE, AL (WAFF) -

The suspect in a Hartselle Dollar General robbery turned himself into the Hartselle Police Department on Wednesday night.

Police said Jonathan Dean Roland turned himself in for the Feb. 2 robbery.

Investigators began the search for the suspect after they said he entered the Dollar General on Highway 36 around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the man led the cashier and manager to believe he had a weapon in his pocket and reportedly took $100 in cash from a register.
