HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

The Gulf South Conference boasts a big regular season game Thursday night.

First place is on the line between UAH and West Georgia.

The Chargers and Wolves tied at 10-3 atop the standings. UAH won the first meeting at Spragins Hall - in that game it was Tanner Finley that provided a spark.

Could Thursday night belong to Michael Gilmore? Gilmore had a career-high 19 points in Saturday's win over West Florida.

"I thought that we kept guarding, I kept telling the guys, that we will make shots, let's just stay in striking range,” said UAH Head Coach Lennie Acuff. "And then Michael has kinda done what he's done all year, just been solid off the bench, and just gives us a spark. He does a little bit of everything and it was good to see him making shots and having a big night, so that was good for him."
