FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Wednesday temperatures noticeably colder

(WAFF) -

Temperatures Wednesday morning will be noticeably colder, with many of you hovering just above freezing in the low-to-mid 30s. These morning temperatures are about 15-20° cooler than Tuesday morning. A north wind around 10 mph is making it feel colder, and wind chills range from the lower 20s into the upper 20s.

Skies are cloudy this morning, but the clouds should diminish later this afternoon. Highs will make it into the mid-to-upper 40s, which is only a few degrees cooler than average. Skies tonight will be mainly clear with lows falling into the mid-20s with a calm wind.

After a chilly start to Thursday, our warm-up begins. We’ll see mostly sunny skies during the afternoon and highs should make it back into the lower 50s.  Lows will be near freezing that night with highs into the mid-50s Friday but that warming trend will carry over into the weekend.
