Kitchen Cops: Inspectors return to McDonald's, Waffle House

The McDonald's in Ardmore has been a Kitchen Cops Low Performer several times, including last time when they scored a 79. But with a reinspection score of 93, the fast food restaurant is now off of the Limestone County Health Department reinspection schedule and off of the low performers list.

The staff at Waffle House in the 4800 Block of University Drive in Huntsville earned their way off of the low performers list, too. Last time, they scored an 80. The inspector reported no critical violations during their reinspection and handed them a 94.

Taqueria Y Antojitos Chapin in Athens scored an 80 during their first-ever health inspection. But the workers at the new Mexican and Guatemalan takeout stand improved by rising to an 87 for their reinspection, good enough to get off the Kitchen Cops Low Performers list.
