Hello to all of you on this cold Tuesday
Anyone who knows me knows I am not a cold weather girl. So the fact that tonight will be another frigid night, coupled with the chance for wintry weather tomorrow, is not making me a very happy camper.
Several school systems have already delayed the start of school tomorrow in anticipation of the inclement weather. We have that up to date list for you at this link - you can also see this list on your 48 News Mobile App.
We'll talk about that as well as these stories in our 10 p.m. newscast tonight:
Winter weather preps: It's not too late - but the clock is ticking. From protecting the pipes to the people in your life - we'll go over what you need to do now before that thermometer drops even lower.
Search for missing Marines: We sent out a breaking news alert just a short while ago with a troubling update - the Coast Guard has suspended the search for 12 Marines - including 2 from here in Alabama - that have been missing since a helicopter crash. A debris field has been found on the ocean floor - we'll have the latest updates.
Missing TN child: At this stage, it's still a "search and rescue," and officials have few answers in the case of missing 2-year-old Noah Chamberlin. He disappeared Jan. 14, but there is still hope the child will be found and rescued.
Brad is in our Storm Tracking center looking over the latest data regarding the potential for a messy Wednesday morning commute - plus we're looking toward Friday, and another round of winter weather.
Join us at 10 for that forecast. See you then!
