Brave the cold for year's worth of Krispy Kreme

Brave the cold for year's worth of Krispy Kreme

Good Tuesday Morning!!

We are talking dangerously cold temperatures this morning across the valley. We have dipped into temperatures in the teens and wind chills into single digits. By the way, this is ahead of a "First Alert Weather Day" with expectations of seeing some wintery weather creep into the valley by Wednesday.

We're tracking details about a mobile home fire overnight in New Market.

Huntsville police are trying to track down two suspects that gave them the slip after spotting them in a stolen car. There was a chase that started in Madison but it came to an end with Huntsville.

A 16-year old in Moulton is dead after an ATV accident. We'll have details on the investigation.

Even with temperatures as cold as they are, people are still brave enough to stand in it. Today, a new Krispy Kreme is opening in Decatur and a year's worth of free donuts is giving them courage to brave the cold. We'll take you to the line forming live.

See you at 4:30 a.m.
